• A Postdoctoral Position is available in the Laboratory of Dr. Iannis Aifantis at the
    Department of Pathology of the NYU School of Medicine. The goal of our research is the
    identification and study of the molecular mechanisms controlling hematopoietic stem
    cell/progenitor differentiation, (El Andaloussi et al. Nature Immunology 2006; Cooper et
    al. Nature Immunology 2006), T cell transformation and leukemia (Vilimas et al. Nature
    Medicine 2007; Thompson et al. J. Exp. Med. 2007). The candidates should have a M.D.
    and/or a Ph.D. plus relevant published research experience. Expertise in a broad range of
    molecular-biological and biochemical techniques is an absolute requirement. Candidates
    with backgrounds in stem cell/ES cell biology, protein interactions or cancer modeling
    will be preferred. The position offers competitive salary, subsidized housing and
